Nipmuc Regional students welcomed to the State House by Sen. Moore

June 10, 2010 ... Recently, Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, (far left) was joined by Sen. Michael O. Moore, D-Millbury, (far right) and Rep. John Fernandes, D-Milford, (left of Sen. M. Moore) in welcoming Nipmuc Regional High School students to the Massachusetts State House. The students, who are currently juniors at Nipmuc Regional, are part of “Project Tomorrow,” an educational non-profit initiative that ensures that today’s students are well prepared to be future innovators, leaders and engaged citizens of the world.

Sen. Moore welcomes St. Anne’s sixth grade students

June 7, 2010 ... Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, (far left) recently welcomed sixth grade students, teachers and chaperones from St. Anne’s School in Webster to the Massachusetts State House for a tour of the building’s Senate Chamber. After personally speaking about the Chamber and its rich history in the Massachusetts legislative process, Sen. Moore fielded a bevy of questions from the curious students before they went on to conduct a complete tour of the entire State House.

Sen. Moore encourages residents to observe CPR Awareness Week

June 2, 2010 ... Stressing the crucial moments that are essential to the well being of a person in cardiac arrest, Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, is encouraging residents to observe National CPR Awareness Week. While the official observation—sponsored by the American Heart Association—ends on June 7, the Association will continue its CPR Awareness programming throughout the remainder of the month of June.
